| Born in the village of Thain, Sasha was recognized at an early age by the High Council in Aethin for her natural magical abilities, taken to the Aethin high Guildhall at age 4, she studied long and hard on many arcane subjects. Sasha showed great promise in many areas, however her distaste for the Politics, back stabbing, and corruption of the wealthy and nobles in the Guildhall, Court, and Country soon showed up in Guildhalls and in the council meetings. During her study of elemental magic's she learned fire, water, earth, and air, taking on shape shifting later, she took the forms of the Dragon for air, a Unicorn for earth, and Phoenix for Fire, however she still search's for a form for water. Her Mentors feeling her lack of tact in courtly manners ( and having embarrassed the guild on more then one occasion ), moved her to a remote Guildhall were she discovered her loss of childhood in the children of the local village Browmn. Taking on the responsibility of teaching the local youth she discovered it was easier for her to deal with the children then the adults around her. In the beginning of her 22nd year, she ( like so many others ) were called back to the main Guildhall in Aethin to defend against the invasion of her kingdom by the neighboring kingdom of Sein, the war which lasted for only a year took it's toll on both kingdoms. In the politics of the land it seemed so obvious to Sasha this weekend the two kingdoms that for so long had been allies, this frustrated Sasha so much she could not see how the other kingdoms watched and waited like hungry wolves. This strengthened her beliefs in the contempt the Nobles and wealthy seemed to have for the regular peoples of the land, which helped to speed her desire to return to her small village. When she arrived home she found that it to had not been spared the agonies of war for not a single home was left unburned, not a single field had a plant standing, nothing was left in place, her home had been leveled to the ground. While the others with her returned to Aethin to report the status of the village Sasha stayed behind to take care of the dead, cursing the Guild, Wealthy and Nobles, Sasha renounced her vows to the Guild on the spot leaving her free for the first time since she was 4. |
