Properties

• You gain a +5 bonus to Perception checks, and a +2 bonus to Arcana checks.
  
• You can use the sphere's powers with your Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma modifier, treating the sphere as a +5 implement.
  
• The sphere can be used as a focus for scrying rituals.
  
• The sphere secretly records everything that happens to and around its wielder. In truth, the sphere is an aspect of the Eye of Vecna. It prefers an arcane wielder, sending dreams of its power to such a character in the party. A DC 29 Arcana check while studying the sphere reveals that it has hidden powers. A subsequent DC 31 Arcana check, made no sooner than a day later, reveals the sphere's true nature. Failed checks can be repeated on a new day.
