You instantly gain the ability to learn the answers to three questions that can be answered with a single word or a brief phrase. You can gain this knowledge only if at least one creature knows the information you seek, even if that creature is no longer alive. You can't gain knowledge of the future. You know the answer to one question before you ask the next, so you can adapt your questions based on what you learn. Once you have learned the answers to your allotted questions, you lose this legendary boon.
