Description: A gnoll is a shaggy humanoid that has a head like that of a hyena. It stands about 7 feet tall, and its muscular body weighs about 350 pounds. Gnolls have red-brown fur mottled with umber.
The typical gnoll is scarred and disfigured from a life of battle. Its fur is darkened with filth and dried gore, and its natural coloration is hard to discern. A gnoll usually reeks of dried blood and rotted flesh. This bestial humanoid looks like a gnoll, but it has oversized tusks in place of its lower canines. The creature's massive body ripples with power and poise. A loose chain shirt decorated with bones covers its torso, and it wears a headdress made of a skull. The creature wields a gory flail in one hand and a shield decorated with an eye-and-fang symbol in the other.
