3 years ago, I couldn’t imagine I’d be writing this post.

Approximately 399 posts ago, I was so smitten with this new version of D&D that I had to start writing about it. I just wanted to share my thoughts and custom bits with others.  I didn’t really have intentions of having a readership, or any of the other awesome opportunities and friendships that have come my way.

But here I am, and I am still having a ton of fun playing and writing for my favorite edition of D&D. It never gets old hearing how material published on the site has contributed to your games. I still enjoy epic twitter threads arguing silly RPG topics and brainstorming wild ideas.  I love being  part of the community and playing games with all the awesome people I’ve met.

I want to thank:

My wife, for the countless and immeasurable ways she supports my passions and hobbies.  I love you.

My brother, for leaving his old AD&D books around for me to discover.

My mother, for buying so many of RPG books for me when I got sucked in.

The contributors for the site, past (Ethan, Jack of Hearts, Milambus, Rudolf) and present (Ryven, Jester, Jeff, Dave ). You always have contributed posts even better than the awesome I expected from you.

My many incredible friends who I have made. I’m not going to make a list for fear of forgetting someone, but I hope you know who you are.  You have made this endeavor awesome and worthwhile.

Wizards of the Coast –you have made something incredible.

To fans of the site and fans of the game…wow!  It still leaves me speechless sometimes to have so many people enjoy our work.  I guess the best way I can thank you is to tell you that there’s more to come! Thanks for visiting the site and sharing your comments with us.

In closing, I know it’s popular to “hate” on 4e or look for it’s demise, but I think you should ignore that if you enjoy the game. Just keep playing! And while you’re playing, let us know how At-Will can help you have the best game possible.

Thanks again.
