As with the previous tables, these are also based on d12s. Gives the poor fellas something to do besides greatbow or greataxe damage.

Ulvein, Drow Defiant Runepriest
Motivation 2 (Sensual Pleasure); Instinct 11 (Fire Needlessly Big Gun); Value 10 (Tradition)
The warmth of radiant energy as it passes through his fingers, the satisfying sizzle of a rune as it sears into flesh or armor, the rush of euphoria that briefly accompanies the channeling of healing – the work of the Runepriest is a full sensory experience for Ulvein. It satisfies the lustful cravings that are an intrinsic part of the Drow nature in ways that few other things can. For this reason, Ulvein guards his runic poems with ferocity, yet is ever eager to unleash the grandest and most powerful of their number at the slightest provocation. His companions keep a close eye out for rich food or a ‘come-hither’ stare from a potential mate, though, as these can distract Ulvein at a critical moment…
Nebin, Halfling Resilient Battlemind
Confidence 12 (While Supporting Others); Instinct 8 (Seduce); Approach 4 (Nurturing Healer)
Anyone who has ever served in the 34th Chericlo Light Infantry can tell you that it is the safest place to be in the Chericlo military. The platoon has a record of markedly low casualties, even in the worst combat conditions. Most attribute this to its commander, Lieutentant Commander Nebin Marshrunner. Dubbed “The Metal Medic,” the 3’11″ armor-clad halfling is rumored to be utterly invulnerable while attending to a fallen ally. Some say it’s merely a matter of being very small and close to the ground, but others swear they have seen arrows caught by wind gusts mid-flight and charging foes trip over themselves on the way to attacking Nebin while performing first aid. Perhaps the most outrageous story involves Nebin deliberately tricking an enemy into attacking him next to another wounded soldier and then letting the enemy’s axe blunt itself on his armor. Whatever the cause exactly, positions in the platoon are highly valued – a fact Nebin knows quite well and uses to gain favors from those who are open to, shall we say… negotiations.
Quarion, Bladeling Gloom Pact Binder
Constriction 3 (Deception); Approach 5 (Proud Noble); Value 9 (Freedom)
Being of royal blood has its fair share of downsides. You’re constantly blamed for the problems of the people, your every move is recorded for posterity and no small number of disaffected folks would like to see you either displaced or dead. It’s enough to drive a woman towards unsavory means, which is precisely what Quarion did. By siphoning off small bits of power from entities of the Shadowfell, Quarion has gained the ability to disguise herself, moving quietly about her lands and beyond with near impunity. Still, the practice and lifestyle have pitfalls. Should someone see through her facade, she is quite alone and unprotected – an easy target for traitors and revolutionaries. Also, she has no good reason to know the things she does as a mere noble, requiring her to concoct elaborate yet believable stories to cover her tracks. She enjoys both the freedom of the travelling life and the potential of being highblood. Can she keep up her double life forever or will her split interests force her hand before she’s ready?

The most useful table ever created by man and/or dolphin? I think maybe. There are so many times that I just come up on a blank on a new character to create for my party, and this is just the thing to set them apart! Can’t wait to start my Dark Sun game and get some use out of this.
Also: I love the use of the d12. It never gets anything done. Always just gathering dust, waiting for some ranger to come along to do absurd damage with their greatbow.
