An ominous tree rises from the grassy floor. Cruel barbs extend from its black bark. Blood-red leaves rustle despite the absence of a breeze.

Hazard: A blood tree fills a square and is blocking terrain. All squares adjacent to the tree are difficult terrain. The blood tree makes a secondary attack against the target.    Secondary Attack: +12 vs. Fortitude    Hit: The tree pushes the target 5 squares and knocks it prone.Countermeasures✦     Nature DC 19: A character can move to a square within the hazard's reach without triggering its opportunity attack by succeeding on a skill check. Once a character succeeds on this check, it is not targeted by the blood tree's attacks for the rest of the encounter.
✦     The blood tree has AC 14, Fortitude 19, Reflex 14, hp 100, and resist 10 poison. When the hazard is reduced to 0 hit points, it is destroyed.
